"Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel." Eph. 6:19
Through our training at MetaCamp and coaching of missionaries and local teams around the world we seek to make multiplying disciples who obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commisssion.
The Great Commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said if you did this then you would fulfill all the Old Testament law.
The greatest way we can show love to God and others is to obey Him. The last command which Jesus gave on earth was the Great Commission; to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that He commanded. When we carry out this command, we will fulfill all the New Testament commands, since obeying all the Lord’s commands is part of the Commission. Notice too, that we are to teach others to do the same.
Our shorthand way to say all this is “ObeyGC2 “ (Obey GC squared).
We can't think of a better way to serve our Father together with you than through prayer. Our commitment to you is to keep you amply informed so that your prayers are intelligent and relevant. We will seek to update these requests weekly so that your prayers are touching the heart of our King that implores Him to change our world according to His desire and for His glory.
Prayer is one of the best ways to glorify God which is our primary purpose and duty in life. Our obedience glorifies Him and it also leads others to glorify Him as well.
There is no higher calling than to ObeyGC2 and none of us should rest until the Lord’s desires are carried out among ALL nations (people groups).
Prayer is one of the most powerful and important aspects of doing ObeyGC2 and one of our greatest privileges as Christians... here are a some good answers as to why we should pray...
